XHTML is the best. it's so specific and rigid and perfect. O___O the sexy kind, of course!! ....meaning i have no idea, lol. i'm not really the um, military and/or paranoid type? do you know of a good one? i wouldn't want a cool old WWII one just cause it's cool and old. i want a functioning one, with all sorts of settings and buttons and shit... @.@
oh, and if you don't want to have to keep typing in the exact number frame you want to use, use on (rollout) { nextFrame(); }
instead of on (rollout); gotoAndStop(1); }
you can use prevFrame(); in place of nextFrame(); too. this code is good because it's so nonspecific, and the same every time, so if you've moved things around, you won't have to go back and rename everything. but you obviously can't use them if your rollover frame isn't located directly beside your initial frame. aaaand another thing, it's probably better if the rollover frame is only one frame long, so the rollover is really quick. unless the rollover is an animation that you want to keep playing until it's finished, even when it's been rolled off of, i suppose?
flashkit.com/tutorials is the place to be. i just used this one last night and feel all clever for making it work. superfancy specific preloaders are the best. xD
i'm glad i could be of help, and i hope your thingything works.
well, before we write lyrics, we have to figure out a tune to have the song sung to. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Times like this, I wish I wasn't suck-tastic @ music. GROWL.
