Summary: It's the plane ride, on the way back from Hawaii, and Inoo has a problem.

Clouds fly past the window in blurred white streaks against a background of clear pastel blue.
Inoo’s slim fingers drum idly on the handrest of the plane seat, staring into space with the drone of the plane’s engine ringing in his ears. The earphones provided by the flight attendants are stuffed in the seat pocket in front of him, and his own set of earphones hang around his neck.
He jumps a little in his seat, restrained by the seatbelt, as he feels something poke his arm. His head whips around, and he sighs as he sees the face of Yabu, his seatmate, mouth curled in a smile, body shaking in silent laughter.
“You should have seen your face!”
Inoo rolls his eyes.
“Did you want something, Ko-chan?”
“You were stoning, so I’m just wondering what you’re thinking about~” Yabu replies, grinning mischievously.
Inoo laughs in spite of himself.
“Hawaii was fun,” he says, “it’s great to be in a sunny place again, now that Japan’s getting colder. And it inspired me to try and learn how to speak English better, too!”
Yabu sighs, and leans back in the cushy cloth of the plane seat. He pokes Inoo’s forehead mischievously, grinning when the skinny boy throws him a half-hearted glare.
“Why? You can speak English quite well. Not like Keito, but that’s to be expected, but you can speak it!”
“I can’t!” wails Inoo, “I didn’t even understand the directions to the toilet!”
“…At least you knew how to ask for directions to go to the toilet?” Yabu says reasonably, in an attempt to console Inoo.
“Fat lot of help that does, if you don’t understand the directions anyway.”
Patting Inoo’s head in an attempt to placate him, Yabu smiles.
“You don’t have to be perfect at everything, you know.”
Inoo pouts at him, and Yabu laughs, leaning over to plant a quick kiss on Inoo’s cheek.
“Because you’re perfect, just the way you are.”
