It was certainly very odd.

Yuto was in the kitchen looking for some cookies to bring up, and Keito was sitting awkwardly in Yuto’s room, not knowing what to do.

A wall covered in photos caught his eye, and he walked over to take a closer look. They were, he realized, photos of the JUMP members.

There was Yamada, caught candidly on film as he attempted to smash cake in Chinen’s face.

There was Daiki, sleeping while Hikaru cackled and stuck pins in his hair.

There was Yabu, chasing a wailing Inoo as he ran away from a rollercoaster, Yamada laughing himself silly in the background.

There was a squished-looking Ryutaro, not looking too pleased as an arm - presumably Yuto’s - noogied him roughly.

The longer Keito gazed at the photos, the odder the entire montage seemed, and suddenly the realization hit him.

There was no photo of him.

It was certainly so very odd. After all, he and Yuto were best friends, weren’t they?

Come to think of it, he realized that he couldn’t recall a single time Yuto had taken pictures with him.

The door opened, and Yuto stepped in, balancing a tray with some cookies and two glasses of juice.

“Yo,” he said cheerfully, “why do you look like you’re seriously confused?”

Keito pointed to the photo montage on the wall.

“Those…are photos of JUMP, right?”

Yuto nodded happily.

“Isn’t it great? I just put up a few taken in our dressing room at SUMMARY!”

“It is good,” said Keito, frowning, “but I’m just wondering…”

Yuto cocked his head and looked at Keito curiously as Keito trailed off.

“Wondering?”

“…why don’t you have any pictures of me?” finished Keito.

Yuto stared at him for a moment with a gobsmacked expression on his face for a moment, before bursting out into a fit of giggles.

“That’s what you were worried about?”

“Hey! It was a serious question, you know,” spluttered Keito indignantly.

Calming down from his fit of laughter, Yuto slung his arm cheerfully around Keito’s shoulders.

“Photos are to remember people or memories by,” he said, smiling, “but I don’t need a photo to remember you by, because the memory of you is already imprinted on my heart and soul for all eternity.”

There was a short pause, before Keito snorted.

“That sounded way cheesy.”

Yuto mock-pouted.

“But it’s true!”

Keito laughed good-naturedly, and patted Yuto’s shoulder.

“Yeah, yeah, I love you too.”
