I was tagged by morianna1, and while I rarely do these things, I decided to do this one. Random, remember? ~points to post title~ So in the meme category:

What song are you currently addicted to? "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga. I swear it's stuck in my head.
What books are you currently reading? Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane
What's the most enjoyable thing you've done today? I went outside and refilled the bird feeders. It's a gorgeous day, and it's nice to feel better and walk around in the sunshine.
What is the one skill you wish you had? I wish I could write better than I do. I'd love to sing well, but that's really a talent rather than a skill.
Sweet or Salty? It depends. Sometimes I crave chocolate, but sometimes I crave salt. Damn hormones. ;)
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction? The usual - Granger/Snape and Sarah/Jareth
Cake or Death? The chicken, please. ;P
What Web sites do you always visit when you go online? Google, Gmail and LiveJournal. There are others that I regularly visit, but Google is my home page, I always clear out my spam folder since I get a ton of it, and I always check my flist.
What was the last thing you bought? Fresh eggs. I bought them this morning because I'm going to eat scrambled eggs tonight, dammit.
Which fictional character do you think you're most like? Hermione Granger. Oh geez, so much like her.
What book do you think everyone should read? Master of Crows by Grace Draven. I love that book, and it hasn't received nearly the attention I think it should have received. :(
Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave? See the above Sweet or Salty question, but there are times when I crave lemons. I'll eat the entire thing except for the seeds.
What do you do to change your mood? Read.
What was the last meal you ate? Actual meal? Hmm, last week I had a broiled steak, a baked potato and a salad. Then it was soup and yogurt, and last night and this morning I had a lime frozen juice bar. Tonight there will be scrambled eggs!
Do you want to learn another language? I want to learn all the languages, but I want them zapped into my brain with little effort. Since that isn't possible (yet), I'd settle for brushing up on my Spanish.
Six things you can't live without. Other than the standard oxygen, water, food, etc.? I could live without a lot of things, but I wouldn't want to try it without my family and friends, my iPod, an internet connection, a computer, chocolate and my cat.

In the TMI category, my diverticulitis is much better. I'm no longer wavering on the verge of ending up in the hospital, and while it's not a diet that I would recommend to anyone (since not eating at all is a major part of it), I've lost eight pounds.
And in the pet category, Cody the Puppy will be coming home from the vet's office tomorrow. Yea!
The poor puppy was taken to a local pet clinic to be neutered on March 1st. They butchered the poor boy. Seriously. They went in at the wrong place, unnecessarily cut through three layers of muscle and severed his urethra. Only we didn't know that at the time, and they sent him home. It's a miracle he didn't die that night. My parents took him to the vet the next morning because he was so swollen and was trying to urinate but all that was coming out was blood. He's had two additional surgeries since and, according to the vet, is ready to come home.
The ginormous vet bill is being sent to the pet clinic whose personnel haven't even had the common courtesy to apologize for whole fiasco. ~spits~
I'm still working on my soapbox rant, but I'm also still too tired. I'll get there, don't worry. ;P
