I'm not a big fan of Ikea, either. Some of their stuff is ok but I agree - for the most part, it does look cheap. I always get lost at the one we have and I really hate that - the number of people that are usually in it doesn't do much for me, either.

Oh yeah, there were too many people at this one too. I don't like crowded stores.

Ooh, you dissed IKEA!

I don't know if I can be your friend anymore. :(

But, the whole idea of IKEA is that it IS cheap! And it's cool.... it's great for getting all the little things you need for an apartment... The artwork is awesome and cheap (but doesn't look cheap), you can get cool trash cans, glasses, silverware, picture frames, etc. without spending a fortune. I've never gotten any furniture there, but if you but the more expensive stuff, it looks good.

But, if you don't like it, I guess it's ok since I won't have you crowding me when I'm there shopping! :)

heh funny.. they just opened an IKEA here as well.. just last week in fact. It's been a mad house down there and I doubt it's going to get any better until after the holidays.
I haven't been myself.. we shall see!
