Thank you. It just seemed natural, all the times John sends back a terminator that maybe he'd try and send one back at the beginning rather than waiting 12/16 years! Heh, but knowing John, it was probably Cameron's idea!
And I like how it touches on the idea of nothing happening in that decade plus between Terminators 1&2.
Still, with the story below I've always felt that in many ways Judgment Day was self inflicted. Humanity pushing it's existence to the point it had to show it still deserved to survive.
So... I wanna know how they did it. It's a very good story, I just am hungry for some details.

Thank you. As for how they did it? Two words - lottery numbers! Lol! Anyhoo, I thought it's interesting, in canon, that it never really occurs to Sarah to actually try and *change* the future until T2. And even then, it's not an active goal as opposed to a spur of the moment decision until the beginning of the series. So, from there, sprung the idea of John sending back a terminator who's with Sarah from the beginning with the tools/knowledge to actively try and change the future.
Thank you. I tend to view Sarah's, uh, intensity coming from having to carry the burden/knowledge of knowing the world was going to end, along with raising the savior of humanity. So, it was fun thinking of the ways Cameron softened Sarah's edges, so to speak, by being there at the beginning.
