I've tried writing a song, tried writing poems and whatever the heck is going on with my mind for once, I can't put it down in a lyrical sense. So here I am, back in good ol' lj where my rants, ramblings and weird two am in the morning feelings all get put down ( Read more... )

I have to say, getting into trouble at work for talking... I hate that. I used to get it all the time in a different department, we would get emails saying "cut the chat". Feel like you're in school. What's wrong with healthy conversation, assuming you're not too busy to do it? I find it sad :(

And I am totally with you on the books thing, as I'm sure you know. I genuinely do think our best authors write for kids. And when I talk about how much I love kids books, I get told the same kind of thing... "shouldn't you be reading adult books?" Ugh. It's the same with films, too... I still love my disney films and plenty of others that most people only see if they have kids! I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but apparently the world does ¬__¬

Also I like that quote at the end :D
