i dunno why but this reminds me of old school janet jackson... maybe just the poppy quality, it's really fun and upbeat tho! love the happy instruments in the background, they definitely fit the lyrics

HA! I actually completely understand the Janet Jackson reference. She has this way of pronouncing words all short and poppy during her dance songs (I actually mentioned this to Jeremy, the other half of Clever Things, last night) and I sort of emulated it.

Jeremy's getting way too good at his base electronic stuff--although I was amped enough to add in my own guitar line too this time :D
