title: one thousand suns wordcount: 2996 rating: G warnings: spoilers for ptolemy's gate and ring of solomon summary: It was all about his memory now. The memory of John Mandrake, now immortalised as the saviour of London.
This was stunning. Utterly stunning. You write Bartimaeus so wonderfully--everything is utterly down pat. The snark, the dialogue--perfect. And although I notoriously dislike Kitty, she was very readable, which I appreciated.
I've always thought that Bart would take Nat's form in later years--I've had him do it, in my own fics--so that was very nice to see, here. <3

T-thank you ;A;
I'm beyond ecstatic that you should think so, because I was so apprehensive of writing Barty. I suppose it helps that by nature, I am already a pretty snarky person whose only humour is that of the dry, sardonic sort, haha.
Well! I'm glad you found her readable, then. Nothing gives me more joy than for my writing to, well, help readers have a little more tolerance for characters they may not like.
Oh, definitely. I think in the end, Nat sort of got to him in the same way Ptolemy did, even if the road to that sort of acceptance was paved by animosity and lots of mocking haha x)
Thank you, thank you, and I most definitely will! It's such a shame that this brilliant series has such a relatively small fandom ;;
This was a really wonderful read. Your Bartmaeus was very well written, and I loved the detail you took with him wearing Nate's form. I'm glad I finally got around to this. :)
