“Noona, you’re going to get into so much shit.” Fifteen year old Jaejoong hissed softly, as he watched his elder sister stuff her clothes into her bag.
“I know.” She giggled quietly, running around the room she shared with her younger brother. “Now what else do I need? “
“Noona, why are you doing this?”
“You won’t understand, Jaejoong-ah.”
“Then make me…”
“I will when the time’s right.” She ruffled her younger brother’s hair and strapped her bag around her shoulder and threw her other case out of the window, which landed with a soft thud on the grass below.
Jaejoong watched his elder sister walk up to him and sit down on the edge of his bed. She laced her fingers with her brother’s; “I am going to miss you and I promise I will try to contact you when everything settles down. I know that you might think what I am doing right now, going against mom and dad’s objections and eloping might seem stupid and irrational to you but, Jaejoong, what you don’t understand is I am in love. And being irrational and stupid seems perfectly alright to me.”
Jaejoong scoffed lightly, blinking away the tears in his eyes; “I hope he’s worth it.”
“He is.” She smiled, albeit a bittersweet one.
“I am going to miss you.” Jaejoong said softly.
“I am going to miss you too.” She smiled, pulling her younger brother into a tight hug. “But I am always there for you, alright? Even when I am not around, I am there for you.”
Jaejoong nodded and watched as his sister climbed out of the window and slid down the cloth ladder she had built out of her bed sheets. He ran to the window and peeked out and watched as his sister picked up her suit case and giving Jaejoong a last wave, she ran off into the night.

“You’re not supposed to be doing this.” Yunho frowned, following his elder brother out of their house and into their driveway.
“You’re not supposed to be following me.” His elder brother argued back, briskly walking towards his car.
“Hyung...” Yunho snapped, as he watched the other load his bags into the car’s trunk. “…please don’t do this.” He whispered, meekly.
“Yunho…” His brother walked up to him and knelt down to come eye to eye with his brother. “…listen to me. You are going to hate me right now and maybe a little while later but one day, you are going to understand why I did this and maybe then you’ll forgive me.”
“Mother and Father will never forgive you.” Yunho said quietly, not looking at his brother.
“And I don’t expect them to.” His brother smiled, pinching Yunho’s cheeks. “And hey, remember Hyung’s words.” His brother frowned, placing his fingers below Yunho’s chin and pushing his face up. “Chin up at all times, you don’t have to feel sorry for me, alright?”
Yunho gave a meek nod and tried to blink away the tears he was holding back as he watched his brother walk towards the car; “When can I see you again?”
“One day you will…” His brother replied, getting into the car. “…but till then, take care of yourself and Noona for me.”
“But Hyung, I’m only fifteen.”
“And strong, Yunho. You are fifteen and strong.”
“I’m going to miss you.”
“I’ll miss you too…” His brother smiled and reared the engine; “…and remember, Hyung will always be there for you, even when Hyung is not around.”
Yunho nodded as he watched his brother get into the car and drive off.
