Okay, so apparently
my first Switch Witch post has gone too large! LJ wouldn't let me save it. Oh well! So here are the rest. :x

Wishlist list, as I missed this out in the questionnaire itself:
pinterest.com/angelamariaetsy.com/people/angelamariaamazon.com/gp/registry/wishlistthinkgeek.com/brain/gimme Are there any characters that you love or identify with?
Are you SERIOUS you want to ask me this? Are you REALLY SERIOUS? Ahem XD Let's see. For males, I adore Fitzwilliam Darcy (Pride and Prejudice; I
run the fanlisting for him, although it's in dire need of a makeover), Edward Rochester (Jane Eyre), Han Solo (Star Wars), Gilbert Blythe (Anne novels), Faramir (LOTR), Domyoji Tsukasa (Hana Yori Dango), Sohma Kyo (Fruits Basket), Gale Hawthorn (Hunger Games), uh...*cough* Okay, I'm a hopeless romantic, so a lot of those are really more of my reaction to the love story they're involved in. I'm a sucker for rascals and/or men pining away in some form. Although I suppose Faramir is not a rascal nor someone who has pined away for a woman...but I dunno, I just find him more intriguing than Aragorn. As for the women, I am slightly pickier. I think. For most, there are things I love about them and wish I was more like, as well as failings and quirks that I see in myself. I love Anne Shirley (Anne novels) for her outlook in life and her heart; Elizabeth Bennet (Pride and Prejudice) for her disposition, refusal to be ordinary, and her humility to admit wrong; Lirael (Abhorsen series) as she is a lot like me but a lot more determined than I am, and absolutely brilliant; Jane Eyre for her strength and faith; Eilonwyn (Prydain Chronicles) for her high spirits and courage;...there are probably more but my brain keeps jumping around trying to think of them all. XD
If you are crafty, what's your personal art style? I'm not talking just about what art you like to look at, but what kind of art do you like creating? Do you have a "process" while you're creating beauty?
I still like doodling, but my art has not really grown or developed over the years as I don't do much other than doodle. When in meetings/classes, I find myself usually drawing borders on whatever paper I have on hand, either geometric/"modern" or plenty of swirls like the usual drawing style for barks of trees. If you ask me to draw something on the spot, I may draw one of two things: a girl, or a beach sunset scene with a coconut tree on the right (hahaha). The girl will be in a manga/anime style, probably not very well proportioned (I don't draw bodies very well, let's not get started on hands), but a cross between Naoko Takeuchi (think manga Sailor Moon, not anime), CLAMP (Magic Knight Rayearth X/1999, etc), and Yoko Kamio (Hana Yori Dango, Cat Street). I suck at drawing males. I don't really have a process or anything! I usually just sketch. Back when I was more into drawing, I'd draw with a pencil, ink it, and...that was it, because I sucked at shading as a child and relied on my older sister. And anyway I had sucky paper too that came apart with erasing the pencil marks...lol.
Are there any Arcana Weenies that you MUST HAVE?
Nope!
So what say you? IS an "unexpected" visit/in-person witching OK?
I would like to, uh, NOT be totally pounced upon! XD But I don't think I mind that. I can be somewhat awkward, slightly introverted in real life though! But I'd really love to meet my Witch someday, as well as my Witchee, and other people I've forged friendships with here. LOVE.
Is there something that you wish you could do, but you keep putting it off?
Oh, lots. The biggest life-changer would probably to quit my full-time work (but how do I pay for BPAL?!?!) and do alternative, crafty things along with freelancing. Now, the biggest thing with that is: I am paying for a few big things (think bank loan things), I live alone (and thus all the rent and utilities need to be borne by me), I'm not very good at networking (which is crucial if you're going to freelance), and I want to craft but right now, I don't get around to doing much. You might say I'm a typical Gemini in that regard: a bit like a jack of all trades. I can draw, I can write (creative/fiction), I can be crafty with my hands as long as it doesn't involve glue. I'm interested in a lot of things, too: drawing, writing, notebook making, jewelry making, clay, knitting (well, I want to learn), baking, in addition to my "professional" interests (websites, web design, web development) as those were borne out of interests, first and foremost. But I kind of suck at sticking to one thing. I've been on a multiple-year burnout for web development/design, but I obviously can't drop it because it's what I'm trained to do and I have bills to pay.
Put your current music player on shuffle, list the first 10 songs:
Boyzone - A Different Beat
Loreena McKennit - Bonny Portmore
The Corrs - Goodbye
Layla Kaylif - Shakespeare in Love
Jason Mraz - Bright Eyes
The Corrs - Give Me a Reason
Nyoy Volante - Panalangin
Carrie Underwood - Inside Your Heaven
True Faith - Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw
Freestyle - Para Sa 'Yo
So, yeah, three of those are Filipino bands/singers :)
Do you have any interest in rocks? Not like, polished colorful stones.. but like... rocks. With geologic significance!
Not really, sorry! I mean, I am interested, but more in a trivia way than a collecting way, you know? I soak up trivia like a sponge, so I can probably say that about almost anything...lol. Also, it would be far too heavy to ship to Singapore, aye?
If your witch were to knit you a scarf/shawl/cowl, which would you prefer, and what features would you want? Would you prefer something light and drape-y or thick and warm? What kind of colors would you prefer? Do you have any fiber allergies or preferences?
Hmm. I am torn! I love scarves but I find so little opportunity to wear them. Although it is cold in the office, and I could wear them there, but I just end up not bringing any, because it is so crazy hot outside usually. They need to be non-scratchy in the least, though! Light and drape-y or thick and warm are fine, although something that I can easily pair with other articles of clothing is relatively key.
Witches - speak to me of shower gels! What companies/scents do you recommend/prefer?
I'm not a shower gel person, sadly! More of a bar soap one, for sure :)
Witchee, have you made (or are you planning to make) any Lab or Trading post orders soon? And if you did (or plan to), you should share what you're getting.
This is a good question ;) I'm participating in a sniffie circle of all the scents that went live during the Weenies, so I'm pretty much safe there. I have a couple orders that are pending arrival, but if you're thinking of getting me something, my imp shopping list and my DISO list are usually pretty much up to date. My Order Planner sheet does have a few things on it at the moment: Tree of Life and backup, Araw ng mga Patay (because I have to have the bottle!!), and Lady Amalthea and backup. Honestly, I'm still trying to find other blends to add on to it, because I need to bring the international shipping cost down. Also, I have a "pending" pickup request with Deek for some retail salons--I'm still hoping for a Parsifal tester before I ask, so that I know if I should get some to travel along with my Haloes request. General rule of thumb, I suppose, is if you are thinking to get me perfume--it might not be a good idea to get me anything that is currently available in the lab, because I will be putting in an order before Klimt comes down, and if I don't find other new blends to love, I may resort to picking up a backup or two. I realize that makes gifting me with perfume hard :-s I'm sorry!
Do you like/own/wear/want fairy wings or something of the like?
Haha! Thank you, but I probably won't find much use for them ;) I did favorite
these elven ears, and it makes me want to grabby, but honestly I probably won't be wearing them much, if at all... XD and on that note, Witch, I forgot about linking
my Etsy favorites page. I realize there isn't a lot yet--but I'm going through Etsy recently so I may favorite a couple more, so you can see what sorts of things I like!
How do you feel about terrariums?
No thanks :)
What colors are in your kitchen, if I were to try to match something to your kitchen decor?
Neutral beiges and whites, some black. It can certainly use some livening up! However, I don't cook a whole lot. To be honest my kitchen feels cramped, I'd love a bigger kitchen, but, uh, yeah. Oh you know what? Ideas on organizing the house, blogs, books, magazines, etc--I love leafing through those!
If your witch was the practical type and wanted to include one or more of your everyday essentials, what would those include? I'm talking about the bath products, lotions, face lotions, teas, food, etc that you really use every day.
I do love receiving things that are really of use! I would probably use any bar soap you give my way (unless it's very funky for me, like stuff with clove etc). I don't use lotion all that much, and I am somewhat picky for shampoos and facial cleansers as I break out easily when I change products. The makeup I favor is slightly on the pricey side, so probably not a very good idea! I may have a use for spices--when my friend and I were in Florence, I picked up some dried herb packets for pasta--i.e., the back had instructions like, "two tablespoons in olive oil, lightly fried, with four servings of pasta" sort of thing. I find that nifty and I sort of wish I had bought more (but please note nothing hot-spicy, if you want to go down this route). I do keep a small stash of chocolates and after-dinner candies (chocolate mints, caramels, etc) in my fridge for a small dessert. I've been planning to get a potato masher, but every time I go to pick one up, I always think, but I cook mashed potatoes like once a month, or less! and then I get home and then regret I didn't pick one up. XD
Jane Austen .. Yay or Nay?
OH MY GOSH. Yes, I included this question, because I LOVE JANE AUSTEN WHEEE! I would love anything Austen related. Austen postcards, notecards, jigsaw puzzles, adaptations, etc etc. What DO I have? Let's see. I have this Jane Austen jigsaw puzzle that I haven't filled out yet. I have two copies of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (the original and the "extended" haha), I have Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters (and didn't like it so much), I have a 2011 calendar of P&P&Z (...unused). I have a region 1 (sob) BBC 1996 Pride and Prejudice DVD. I have a Mr. Darcy amigurumi. I have tried getting into some of the book adaptations done (other than P&P&Z, I mean) but I don't find them too engrossing, for some reason. I have the Marvel Pride and Prejudice graphic novel, and the Sense and Sensibility one. Jane Austen is one of my bigger interest fields, like Star Wars (original eps).
I put up quotes I love in my office and studio to get me going, They range from goofy to sarcastic to inspirational... Are you interested in a hand painted quote? Do you have one in mind, or a topic in mind?
Hmm, that's all right, thanks! I've yet to get started on putting stuff up on my walls.
Do you like period or period-styled paraphernalia? Stuff like postcards, notecards, jewelry, office supplies, what-have-you?
Yes, I love that sort of thing. I have a soft spot for period/costume drama/films, style, and accessories, notebooks, postcards, notecards, pens, etc.
If you like manga, comics, and/or graphic novels, what is it about them that you like, in general? The story, the art/style, etc?
I am more interested in manga and graphics novels, personally. I do love the art, and art can be a deciding factor for me in terms of how much I love something. I'm not big on superheroes and the like, although I get interested in them every now and then and go Wikipedia-hopping (it's more of the trivia whore in me).
If you could choose a Smack, what would it have in it?
I assume that this is for
Villainness Smack!s. Let me see, the interesting notes for me would be:
- Bluegrass - Newly-mown lawns, sweet chamomile, and crisp, green tea leaf.
- Chocolate Mousse - Smooth pools of decadent dark chocolate.
- Honey Nut - Toasted almonds tumbled in clover honey.
- Lei Flowers - Discontinued - Big tropical blossoms - gardenia, neroli, plumeria, and orchid.
- Marshmallow - Sticky, sweet confections doused in powdered sugar.
- Mint Medley - Crisp, summer-sweet wild mints - equal parts peppermint, cornmint and spearmint.
- Red Woods - Sandalwood, mahogany and cedar very lightly spiced with sage and cardamom
- Sugared Roses - Perfect, pink, long-stemmed roses, crusted with pure cane sugar.
- Summer Melon - Discontinued - Enormous home-grown mutant cucumbers with a ripe slice of cantaloupe.
- Vanilla Bean - Perfection. Vanilla, neither rich, boozy, artificial nor creamed.
Please note I included discons just so you have a feel of what sorts of notes are interesting for me! :D I don't even know if those work well together...on the whole I do prefer simpler scents than complex ones, or scents with many components but very well blended. :)
If you could have a salon scent made, based on any artwork(s) what would it be?
I'll just get something from my deviantart faves:
Autumn Snow. It's a bit of a cop-out, sorry!
Are you scientifically curious and/or process-oriented? Would you like a project-type gift that allowed you do do something like make soap from scratch, take and (nontoxic-ly) develop photographs using a pinhole camera, use plant dyes on yarn or fabric, etc.?
Not very process-oriented, although I am curious about a lot of things! Making soap from scratch is interesting, developing film photos not too much, plant dyes on yarn/fabric is somewhat interesting. I've also been curious for a while now on creating resin stuff, like jewelry and beads and such. I wouldn't call all those scientific, exactly, though!
What's 'your' song/your theme song?
Oh man, this changes from time to time. One that usually keeps getting repeated as a personal song/refrain would be Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, though. And maybe one or two of Zee Avi's.
What would be your superpower?
Telepathy and telekinesis :D Maybe some flying :D XD
Witchee, would you like a gently used BPAL tshirt?
I'm a bit iffy about used clothing, sorry! I mean, I'd take hand-me-downs in good condition, but...yeah.
Do you like homemade snack mixes?
Sorry, but I have a lot of snacks in the house that end up not getting eaten and thrown away! Probably not a very good idea.
Do you like charm bracelets? If you had a bracelet, what sort of charms would you want on it? Favorite hobbies, symbols, whatever?
I'm not too big on charm bracelets, unfortunately. I mean, I might like them, but my work is on computers and I spend a lot of my time on them...and that means bracelets usually get in the way! I do like cuff bracelets and they tend to stay on my wrist longer than beads. I also like layering bracelets together, like multiple bead bracelets etc, and as long as they are not too "in the way" when I'm sitting in front of a computer/keyboard, I love wearing bracelets! Charms and chunky bracelets also tend to rattle when I type, which annoys me no end.
If you're interested in a handmade pouch/cover for an item you have (phones, tablets, books, keys, kettles...), what would your ideal pouch/cover have? Design, material, additional functionality/features like pockets or lights or secret hidey-holes?
I have an iPhone 3GS, but I mean to get the next iPhone version once it's out (my contract has lapsed and I'm up for a free/discounted phone in my plan). The
Book Book for iPhone is almost spot-on for what kind of handmade pouch I would like, except that I'd also like one with a wrist strap as otherwise my phone would fall more often than it already does *blush* I like the Book Book because I can put a few cards in it (I'd say a maximum of two or three--I keep my chip-enabled train/bus pass in my current sadly too-worn pouch and just tap the whole thing), some cash, and yes, the general aesthetic does appeal to me. I do like that it's somewhat sturdy/stiff, although that's not as much of a requirement.
I have a Kindle, and I don't have much of an opinion yet for cases for it. A light is not important, and I'd rather not have one since it will just add weight/bulk. I do like pockets on the inside,
like the ones here looks good. I do want something light in weight and not too stiff (but not too soft), with the Kindle snug in its straps.
I have a Lumix GF2, a pink one (hehehe) and I might be interested in the leather/faux leather stickers to give it a bit of a retro look (I know, pink and leather doesn't seem to work too much...but black might work!). I think I'm fairly good with it though, and don't exactly need a pouch for it.
If you're crafty, are you interested in spoonflower? And if so, what things there delight your eyes?
Oooh! This is the first time I've seen spoonflower. That...looks fabulous! And so expensive. :x I mean, hell, international shipping is obviously going to be expensive, but even the cloth prices themselves...maaaaaan. I've not tried working with cloth yet (i.e. sewing or covers for notebooks etc) so while I am very interested, I'm sure there will be more appropriate things to get me (lol).
Colors! What are your favorite colors and what colors do you not like? Pictures and links, people!
That depends! Are you talking of colors to wear, or colors in general? I love all colors in general XD it really depends on what I will be using that color on. I tend to like either pastels or vivids, am okay with something in between, and oh yeah, I generally dislike neon brightnesses. To wear, I somewhat favor slighter darker shades, the better to slim up ;) hehe. I have
this pinterest board on craft supplies that I recently added almost all sorts of color and color combinations I found interesting in Fresh from the Cauldron...XD
What is your favorite word?
It depends on my mood/etc. :P But one thing I am usually giggly about it "flibbertigibbet".
What are the feelings on arm warmers? Color, style, texture, length?
I wouldn't need it very often, sorry!
What's your favorite flavor? Sour, sweet, bitter, salty?
Mmmmm. Sweet, sour, and salty, not necessarily all together at the same time! XD Although I do like those (all three together) sometimes (like candied tamarind, for example). I am Filipino and I love tasty food. I do not like bitter food, or hot-spicy food.
Would you like a photo collage based around your interests/favorite colors/favorite themes?
I wouldn't know where to put it, sorry! It's really a bit annoying when you are only renting and can't ram nails into walls in order to hang stuff on the walls properly. Sorry!
So, are there any online gaming witchees who covet purchasable in-game items or other gamer-y stuff?
You know, a year ago, I would so jump at this! Right now, though, I haven't been playing, so in-game things might not be the best thing to give me. Although I looooove vanity pets. I have the pandaren monk and li'l XT (I hate those trains), and have always been meaning to get the other vanity pets. The winged guardian mount (is it out yet?) is also really purdy. I have the celestial steed already. :D *sweatdrop* I don't suppose you have a spare Ashes of A'lar in there somewhere, do you? XD That would straightaway send me back to WoW, I think! I like tiger land mounts too; I did the rep grinding for Night Elves especially for my human main just to get a NElf saber. If I hadn't just gotten ANNOYED at rep grinding Timbermaw (I know, I know) I would have gone on to rep grind for the wintersaber too...
Anyone doing anything cool for Mabon (or the start of fall, if you aren't pagan?
Not really!
What is your favorite coffee blend at Starbucks? If you don't have one, what is your favorite roast of coffee?
I don't do coffee, sorry! (I know, someone who works with computers who ISN'T into coffee?! BLASPHEMY! When I do go to coffee places, I'd usually get either a tea latte or mint mocha.
Is there anything you'd like from the Mütter Museum Store?
Not really.
I just noticed that Cocoa Pink has 5 ml Perfume Atomizers. Yay or nay? Scents you would like? Scents you would NOT like?
I really should try to not look at other perfume sellers now...
What's your favorite kind of pizza?
CHEESY. Most pizzas with multiple cheeses are fabulous. With crusts stuffed with cheese, fabulous. White pizzas are fabulous. NOMMY!
Who are your style/fashion icons? post pics if you want!
Meep! I don't really think I have a particular style...I can be very casual a lot of times and then go through phases of being smart/casual chic etc etc. I'm not girly enough to be very specific about fashion, although girly enough to care about it.
Are there any food items you're craving/aren't able to find around your area?
Well, Filipino food? XD Hearty Filipino food can be challenging to find in Singapore, unless you cook it yourself :p Otherwise I'm good, I think.
What about little wee creatures for your desk or mantel, like this?
No thanks, I have quite a few stuff like that on my mantels/shelves/coffee tables and they're just horrible at collecting dust (or rather, pretty good at it).
Is there anything you like or would like to try from Bath & Body Works?
I don't think we have that here. Do we have that here? The safest answer will probably be, no thanks XD
what would you think of
this (with a matching scarf)?
It wouldn't be much used, sadly. I've never worn kerchiefs before, and it would slip off of my hair unless I do it really tight, and...I get headaches if I do that. I actually get headaches with most headbands now (I don't want to say *all*), which is sad because I've loved wearing them in the past and I would like to start wearing them again.
And, here's a question: Look down. What are you wearing, right now?
"A Birth Day" tee, and cropped grey pants, and rubber slippers. I stayed in all day (in my jammies) as I've had a really, really bad headache, but I needed to get some groceries and food to cook, so I threw these on.
how do you feel about ethical animal fiber, i.e. wool and the like?
Sure, that's fine.
It's the weekend, and you find yourself without a single chore or responsibility for a few hours. Right this very moment, what's the one thing you would do if you could do anything?
Go back to sleep, haha. I think almost everyone in the thread answered the same way...
Would you be interested in regional jams, jellies, or other preserves?
I'm not a jam person, sorry! I generally like dried fruit, though.
Do you have any bedtime rituals? Is there any particular product you have to apply or a certain shirt you wear or an act you perform to get you in the "bedtime" mood?
None really, aside from the usual hygiene stuff, and they're not exactly there to put me in a bedtime mood. I usually just go and sleep when I feel like it. On rough days I *would* try to do a little pampering, but otherwise...yeah, nothing really. My sleepwear usually consists of either long cotton nightgowns, oversized old soft comfy shirts and boxers, sometimes just the shirt. I've tried the lacy stuff (I was trying to be "grown up" lol) and the lace just itches and I don't like it.
Are you interested in today's/any recent Tee Fury shirts?
Hmmm, not particularly! I've never tried them before.
Princess Bride? Yay or nay?
My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. (I had a mini-childhood-crush on Mandy Patinkin after watching, and considered him a favorite actor for a while after. Hehe.)
What's your favorite classic fairytale?
I've always been drawn to The Wild Swans, by Hans Christian Andersen--and he's my favorite fairytale storyteller, a lot of his stories are fabulous, but Wild Swans is my favorite (probably because it was the first story of his that I loved). Close second (and not as well known) of his is The Travelling Companion. Another one that I love is Charles Perrault's Donkey Skin. As for more mainstream loves (read: stuff that have been turned into popular animation features)...let's see, as a kid I loved Disney's The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast, and Don Bluth's Thumbelina; but well, as an adult I've usually enjoyed the original fairytales more. :) I still love reading them every so often.
If you were to go
here and create your very own chocolate bar, what might it have in it?
OMG. LOVE. I can't decide! And why only five?! I might go for a dark chocolate "bar", just to make it slightly healthier...likely one cracker type (graham crackers?), and oh peanut butter drops sound fab...and I suppose junior mints will do all right for the mint, or the crushed peppermind candy...probably none from the herbs/spices section, except for the sea salt maybe...and ooooh fruits! and nuts! Can't go wrong with almost anything from either, but mostly interested in strawberries, cranberries, raspberries, blueberries, raisins, any of the dices EXCEPT ginger (no ginger please!!), and for the nuts I'd be more interested in hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios, and pumpkin seeds. Well, obviously not ALLLLL of them at once. I've always loved chocolate and mint together (think Andes), and chocolate with cookie/cracker bits (like Twix, Kit Kat, etc), and chocolate with fruits and nuts. But yeah, whatever store-bought chocolate I get, I'll probably be very happy :D (Except if there is ginger in there. Please no ginger kthx.)
Is there any kind of international candy you love or would like to try?
There isn't really anything that comes to mind at the moment. I love candy though, so anything should be okay (okay, except if it's durian candy or ginger candy).
What is something totally random (yes, that thing that just popped into your head) that hasn't been covered by any previous questions?
Uh. I have very problematic feet? Lol. I have very low pain tolerance when it comes to shoe chafing etc. so I find it very difficult to shop for shoes. I am looking for a fabulous pair of ballet flats. The one I've loved a lot is Diesel's Heather ballet flats, in gold (or copper; I forgot the official color name), size 7. Sadly it is out of stock and I cannot find it anywhere anymore, and my pair has sadly been used to death.
Is there any cheesy/non-cheesy Canadian stuff you'd be interested in?
Not really, hehe.
Is there anything you're wanting from LPMP?
Nope again!
Say you stumbled into Camp Half Blood (or whatever the Roman camp ends up being named), which god claims you?
...I do not understand this question. Sorry, I pretty much only skim the chatter thread for questions (or get from lioness's sheet) as it gets really unwieldy (and some NSFW images at work too).
What is something people are always surprised to learn about you?
I'm not sure. No, really. I'm a bit of a wallflower in social gatherings, so it's difficult to find out if there are any surprises along the way. My high school classmates were all surprised to find out I had taken up computer science instead of journalism or similar literary course, but what they'd be surprised about now, I have no idea. Some guys have expressed surprise that I don't have a boyfriend. Some friends now probably look at my hobbies weirdly. You must understand, my interests are not the same with most typical Filipino interests--I'm not interested in "showbiz" (which means, celebrities, actors, actresses, gossip and news around that, etc), basketball or boxing or any other sport to watch, and...well, a host of other things. I've tried to make myself interested, but it's a chore, so...yeah. I seem to have digressed, sorry! But I honestly have no idea of one thing I can freely, in public, say that people are surprised to learn about me.
So who else watched Babylon 5?
Not me, sorry!
If you had to decide what your stripper name was, what would it be?
Lol, first pet + street name would be something like Jinky Begonia, or Brownie Acacia, depending on if you want a family pet or first pet that was "mine", and what stage of my childhood. Choosing, let's see. I did use Valentine Fox over at Echo Bazaar ;) although I didn't continue her for very long.
What level of contact were you hoping for?
This is what I wrote in my questionnaire: I would like [a close or medium level of] contact as well, as I do know that I get paranoid about packages not arriving or taking too long etc, so having a witch who keeps in contact (at least about if I have something incoming!) would help me not go crazy! My witch has contacted me twice so far and let me know something may or may not be arriving (lol) so I'm pretty happy :)
Sooooo Witchees, have you ever taken that particular personality test? If so, are you an Analytical, a Driver, an Expressive or an Amiable?
I am ashamed to say this, but that page confused the hell out of me. Where is the "next page"? I must be getting old, since I find newfangled things confusing :( That said, I've taken a lot of personality tests ;) and one thing in the same line that I can tell you is that I fluctuate between
INFP and
INFJ.
Do you prefer a particular Alice in Wonderland illustrator (Tenniel, Rackham, Disney or others) or do you like them all equally?
No, no real preference.
Do you like lavender as a flavor as well as a scent?
Not really. Or, I don't really know.
Do you have an Amazon wishlist or do you belong to Goodreads or LibraryThing?
My Amazon wishlist has been linked at the top here (I used to separate it betwen books, DVDs, etc--see the left sidebar when you get there). I should also be found at both Goodreads and LibraryThing...only I don't remember my usernames. Hmm. I shall look it up if you want me to, but they would be very outdated.
Question: Is anyone else afraid of or creepy out by dummies/puppets/Muppets/etc? Other things you're squicked/freaked by that's best left by the wayside?
I'm not creeped out by dolls, except when the dolls are creepy on purpose. I'm not too much of a doll collector though! Nothing gory, please. Or outright scary.
Your favorite restaurant or type of food to eat out. Would you use a restaurant.com voucher? Groupon?
I'd probably not use a groupon/coupon, sorry!
Along this line...Are there any local museums/attractions you keep never getting around to going to?
None really.
It's
Banned Books Week! Are there any books on the list you'd be interested in checking out?
Wow, The Hunger Games and Twilight are on the list! I've read both, and I liked The Hunger Games a lot and Twilight--I loved it when I first read it but on subsequent reads it's kind of lost its appeal a bit. Actually, Breaking Dawn would probably be more "controversial" for me than Twilight (the first book), because of the...ah...well, for those who haven't read it, I won't spoil the series, but those who have, it is something that happens early on in the book. I am obviously an "adult" when I read Breaking Dawn, but honestly, after I read those scenes, I was like--uh, this is a book aimed for adolescents?! I don't really consider myself a prude, but...yeah.
Of course that whole above paragraph is a huge digression from what the question is asking. And the answer is: not really! I'm open to suggestions, other than the aforementioned two that I have read. I would prefer an ebook over a book, though!
JONES SODA CO has LE soda packs for The Guild, Buffy, D&D, So Cute, etc. Would you be interested in these, Witchee?
Interesting! But probably not worth the shipping--I'm not even sure if you CAN ship those international?
I have just been enlightened to
THESE. Are these flavors relevant to your interests?
Mmm, Tokyo Milk! I've just discovered we have that here (with a hyoooooge markup), but I haven't seen the Dark line at all! I'd be keen to try almost anything from the Dark line. From the lip elixirs in that line, let's see, the following were interesting:
- Salted Caramel (Sweet Cream, Sea Salt, Caramelized Sugar, Toasted Vanilla Bean)
- Dead Sexy (Ebony Wood, Warm Vanilla, Citrus Peel, Rosewater)
- Coco Noir (Dark Rum, Maraschino Cherry, Sweet Milk, Cacao Bean)
- Absinthe (Anise, Mineral Salt, Citrus Peel, Crushed Herbs)
- Smoked Salt (Smoked Sea Salt, Burnt Sugar, Molasses, Vanilla Bean)
- La Vie En Rose (Rosewater, Sweet Orange, Peach, Tahitian Vanilla)
As for their regular line: I Made You A Mix Tape, Sugar Sugar, Sencha Bleu, and I'd love to try Marine Sel, from their solid perfumes. Bon bon lip balms, I was interested in getting Opera Mint and Candied Violets. As for the hand cremes--not all were available, but I wanted to get Let Them Eat Cake. And yes, I prefer the solid perfumes over their regular perfumes--gosh, I'm such a perfume snob now lol.
Style profile at julep?
Well, it says my style profile is
"Boho Glam". Huh. "Influenced by various Bohemian and hippie trends, your world and wardrobe is your creative drawing board. You are a profound romantic and appreciate beauty on a deeper level. This look is best emphasized by earthy neutral tones and accented by chic indulging hues of turquoise, purple and orange. Effortlessly elegant, you love to accessorize with as many belts, headbands, beads and feathers as you can get your hands on." ...uhhh, I love to accessorize, but NOT with "as many" things as I can fit, and definitely not feathers :p I do love many bracelets provided they are not noisy. And most of it sounds spot on. I don't know about "effortlessly elegant" though...
Do you drink wine?
Nope. I can, and will sometimes, but it's not something I would usually do. I probably have a glass--or less--about twice a year.
Pumpkin kisses?
No thanks. Pumpkin SEEDS are another thing. I can't help myself when they're about. I just keep shelling and shelling and munching and munching...
I have a not-so-secret love for
The Broship of the Rings. Are there any prints from her store you'd like?
Hahaha! That is fabulous. As a LOTR geek, that site amuses me.
Love Eowyn! Hahahaha. Saruman was a hoot as well. And the Nazgul on bikes! That said, I might like Biker Eowyn. But actually, I really have no idea what I would do with prints. What would I do with them? How do I hang them? Etc.
Who here likes
Stephanie Pui-Min Law's artwork?
Oh wow, she does fabulous work! I think I like
Essence of Beauty,
Moonbathing, and the Bridge of Wings. But again--no idea how I'd hang them up! Hrm.
I have a question- What kind of purse do you prefer? Leather, cloth? over the shoulder or crossbody, or something that can do either? Do you like bold bright prints with fun things, or monochrome, solid colours?
It really depends. For an everyday purse, I have
this grey Kelly Moore B-Hobo bag, although I do feel like I maybe should have gotten something with a bit more personality and color (I was just thinking more of, what would be easy to pair with things?). I do like lots of pockets and ways to organize stuff, and I don't really usually change bags between uses unless my bag is dying and/or it's really not appropriate. Something that can do both shoulder/crossbody would be great, too.
Question. What kind of bear is best?
PANDA BEAR! Ahem. Or...gummy bears!
Witches, did you lament NOT getting one of the condom case/imp cases that got released with the courtesan series?
Not really.
I recently saw candy corn in non-candy corn flavors like CHOCOLATE and CARAMEL APPLE. It's not a fancy brand, I just saw it in the drugstore, but who here would like something like that?
I've never tried (nor been really interested) in candy corn, oops!
Is anyone interested in reading The Night Circus?
So, I did start playing the game that Failbetter Games is...doing...or has done. I'm getting rather curious.
Like commercial socks?
That's fine! As long as it's cute :)
Witchee, would you like anything from this particular Haunt update?
Not really, I've not tried any Haunt products before and I would be hesitant to even see! I am blissfully ignorant.
The Possets Halloween update is also live; does anything in the update strike your interest?
Nope!
Who's interested in Halloween: Montreal?
Nope, not me :)
