Hello hello hello! It's been rather a while, hasn't it? I've got some free time rn, so I thought I'd do a little round-up post of the last few weeks or so.
CASTLE! I actually wasn't a huge fan of the premiere, but the second episode was pretty good, in my opinion....I haven't caught the last two weeks, because I've been too busy. But she did say in the premiere that she and Josh are over, so. I can tell you that. :D
Is Merlin something I need to make time for? I've heard surprisingly good things about it...I didn't read what you said, because spoilers, but I'm guessing you liked it?
Oh that's right, I'd forgotten. I actually have watched the premiere, I just have the worst memory ever. The second episode is good? Awesome! I'll be sure to check it out, I love it when Castle is good. Is it just me or is the cinematography and lighting and stuff really, really gorgeous recently

Is it just me or is the cinematography and lighting and stuff really, really gorgeous recently? To be honest, I...hadn't actually noticed that. I mean, it's no Firefly...but I think it has improved in general, yeah. Also you should definitely catch up because next week's episode looks like so. much. fun. :D
Aww, what have they done with Gwen? I always found her one of the less likable characters (which is odd, because I think we are all supposed to love Gwen), so it's too bad they haven't done anything about that. Yay for Arthur and Merlin not resetting again, though; that got damn annoying. I'll probably go watch all of them when I get a chance...in, like, two months. XD
LOL, thing is, when I say "really gorgeous", I mean "wow i actually noticed it looked good derp derp derp" because I have absolutely no sense of aesthetics whatsoever. It's just once in a while there'll be a scene with really nice, weird lighting or silhouettes or something (this started near the end of S3 iirc) and I'll go, huh, that looks cool. Like in the scene where Castle and Beckett were in the quarantine tent last season. The lighting was kind of spooky, and the shot was just different than the average Castle shot. Sort of X-files-y, tbh (which I don't think you've watched and I need to get around to convincing you to do so because that show is seriously, seriously good

THIS THIS THIS to everything you said! I don't think Arthur would do a Purge or anything, but I worry that if he were to come across a magic user (as opposed to actively seeking them out) he wouldn't be merciful. It just makes my heart ache because Merlin tried so hard and he was so hopeful but it all backfired. (NGL tho the Morgana lover in me was like "awww bb your plan worked good for you!" and then I felt bad.)
The M/A this season has been golden :D Since the very first episode the banter has felt way more playful than it did last series (except maybe the two-parter finale because I remember preferring that to most of S3.)They've even gotten in a few of those long, heartfelt stares already! Their chemistry has always been off the charts, but the writing this season is defs helping it along.
Is it just me or is this whole cast really, really attractive? Like, even more so this season.
