When they came to Blacksburg, one of the more popular counter-protest signs was "I LIKE CREAMED PEAS" (extra bonus points if you hold the sign while wearing a swimsuit). Wish I could remember more of the slogans they came up with...they made a pointed effort to only make nonsensical signs that had nothing to do with the church or whatever they were protesting, which made the hate-mongering from the church seem pointless and ridiculous. And it's much more enjoyable than trying to fight fire with fire (which doesn't work with these morons).

Ugh, I saw a documentary on these people, they have been warped by crazy for so long I can only think of them as mentally ill. (Fred is a psychopath and it might be genetic) You know they beat up on and harass each other? Scary violent. Nothing good happens on a compound.
