i know what you mean. i was working at autozone today, bored out of my mind... looking for some variance in my tedium.

then a guy rode past the store window and down the sidewalk in one of those mini-mini-crotch rockets at about the speed of lawnmower. it made the day of everyone in attendance.

i've been taking calcium pills lately, and if i go a few days without taking them, i'll feel this aching sensation at the top of my foot, where i broke several bones a few months ago. now this might just be an instance of the placebo effect, but after i read your comment i'm beginning to think that maybe it really is a lack of calcium brought about by eating too much sugar that causes that aching sensation - and that the calcium pills help to counter that effect by replacing the robbed calcium.

thanks for the educational info. now i just need to consume more vitamin D (and eat less sugar)! apparently vitamin D increases calcium absorption up to 80%!
