In any case, now that I've modelled myself on the story, I love this: I especially love that Laura assumes Collins is a sufficiantly normal and minor problem that he can be joked about.
Julia, I love the actress who plays her in everything I've seen her in, so loving Cadman goes without saying: you write her well.

I've definitely put Jaime Newman on my list of people who should be getting more than 'single episode guest star' roles. I wasn't sure about Cadman's voice here, but that gave me an excuse to watch her episodes again :)

Also, about the story... I felt so bad, both for Laura and for Anna M... I actually think they put each other back together again. And I have a feeling Rodney was right... Atlantis is doomed now. Can we read more about the female officers' round table, please?

I've been trying to work in the women officer's round table idea for a while - I tried it from Janel's pov, but I ended up taking that story in a different direction. It also features in the big bang that wasn't story, which hopefully I'll still get off the ground at some point, but that's from the guys' pov. Now I'm thinking I should try to do it from Teldy's pov, but I don't really have a voice for her. (I did think it contradicted Anna's opinion of Teldy in the earlier stories - that she's not comfortable being seen as responsible for the military women - but now I rather like that - she's taken responsibility, because it takes more than a Carter or two to make the SGC better or easier for women to navigate than the mainstream military)
