It's just hair.

I went to a hair salon the other day to get a haircut. My hair was way too long for my own good so I kinda had to.

Now, I'm not the type who fusses a lot about hair and whatnot, getting a haircut isn't that much of a big deal to me like it is for some people I know. However, it was quite sad to get a haircut at such a.. sad place.

I've been living in Guilin since March and I still have no idea where the 'elite' Guilin people live or hang out at, or if there's anything 'elite' here at all. It's a small, small town after all. The nicer hair salons are downtown and we were too lazy to go downtown so we decided to just go to the one 20mins of walk away from our dormitory. The haircut turned out to be normal and symmetrical so I thought that was good enough. But still, it was a pretty sad place. You could even smell the toilet from the place where they washed your hair. Yeah.. it was sad.

But it was 15 RMB. Which is hella cheap. But then again that's the normal price around here I guess. Around the sad hair salons, at least.

On a brighter note, my Japanese and Korean (and Khalil Fong) concert DVDs that I ordered from taobao.com have all arrived and I'm quite happy. Big Bang's second Big Show concert is more awesome than the first one, Mr.Children is forever great and Khalil Fong is LOVE. Seriously how awesome is this guy? And I love how he speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese all oh so fluently.

Going to Longsheng tomorrow to see some terrace fields. Hope they'll all watery and pretty tomorrow. Don't disappoint me, Longsheng. Don't.
