I totally understand you because I myself am a non believer. I'm one of those people who think things must be done by my own hands and and I don't a supernatural existence to light my path because it's up to me to see that light and walk along it if I choose to. And believe me, I grew up in a very VERY conservative land, with very narrow minded religious people. I accept everyone religion (only hate thoses who think they need to die to attain happiness by killing other, because that it's not religion, it's sickness

I know.. I also think she's stupid but *shrugs* there's nothing I can do about it. She's one of those too-delusional, too-religious and too close minded people. So, trying to make her understand will probably just result in me losing a good friend. So.. yeah. Some things you just have to ignore, I guess.

woow..even i usually hate talk about believer-non believer things just because it has no end, but i think this is the good one..I have face this condition so many times in my life. I am a chinese-buddhist but still my parent teach me to be open-minded. They say every believer is true and don't ever argue about what people believe, it will become an un-ending debate. Little bit like postmodernism i think, but it's okay cause at least it doesn't disturb other

Please realize how fortunate you are to have such great parents ;) How I really wish more parents could be as open-minded as yours, so that there can be more understanding people out there..

yeaaa..i know it. they are really amazing..but i think other parents also amazing..whatever they do, they give everything they know and do their best just for their children..they are superb.. ;p

I think atheist also not bad, atheist is also good..I've heard once, Dalai Lama said that if in this world there is a billion people, than this world should have a billion religion. Every people have their own way of live. Atheist is also a choice.

Perhaps the only problem is our country law. They didn't allow their citizen to be atheist. ;p
