Last night I threw a really nice world party for my friends who are leaving soon for Europe and Africa. They return after I leave Iowa City. I had wonderful plans for the party, and admittingly kind of little time to plan it. But I was really disappointed that so many people didn't even return my call about their coming (or rather, not coming)
