i don't completely understand what this means. was it that he didn't know your age, or was there something implied by him asking you this question?

My birthday is wednesday... I'm already a complete mess about it... i just wish my parents knew when my birthday was i guess...

that does make sense. i felt the same way about my dad. he used to not really know how old i was, either.
