A. So last night (or tonight?) I just went out to an advance screening of Superbad.
Basically, if you like somewhat crude and often sexual humor with a touch of heartfelt-ness, plus Michael Cera--you know, adorable little George Michael from Arrested Development--you'll like it. It's a film by Judd Apatow, same guy who did The 40-Year-Old

I'm not sure exactly what you do/don't listen to, so here's a few. !!! ("dance punk"), Art Brut (Spoken-word, kind of a bit post-punk), Klaxons ("New Rave"), Patrick Wolf (FANTASTIC. That is a genre.), Maximo Park (A bit post-punk as well), Final Fantasy (Violin-y, not too pussyish. Guy That Used To Violin With The Arcade Fire.)?

B&S are one of those bands that I have to be in a very specific kind of mood to really get into; they're a good band, they just tend to ahhhh...bore me. *don't hit me plz*

It's weird because I've heard just a little bit of all of those bands (except Final Fantasy)--Maximo's "Apply Some Pressure" was like my anthem two summers ago--but given your recommendation I will def. give each of them another look. Thanks :)

HA, i'm so jealous you got to see Superbad early! Oh yeah, and thanks for the advice. Today wasn't much better but hey, progress takes time. I told her I loved her today and she bit me (immature eh? yeah, she's older than me), I think she was kidding though. lol. She expresses her love in strange ways. Anywho, uhm yeah creepy perverted guys are not fun. I am seriously considering buying pepper spray.

Gosh, I dunno how to help you with the music bit, I usually listen to overly cliche pop indie music and dancey stuff. Recently, i've been getting into this band called Metro Station, Hannah Montana's brother in real life is in the band (not how I found out about them, I was going to stop listening after I heard that tid bit). But I dunno, they're synthesized and poppy, so I dunno if that's what you're into right now. lol. At least I tried?

Haha, she gave you a "lovebite"...though I think that means something very different in the UK. XD

I've only seen a picture of Miley Cyrus's brother but it makes sense that he'd be in a band 'coz he looks very scenester-ish. That was such a shallow-sounding statement but oh well. I'll give them a look :D
And don't worry about it being what I'm into or not, I don't even know what I'm into at the moment, which is why I asked. So thanks!

Ha. I dunno what lovebite means but I don't think it should have anything to do with siblings. lol. Yeah, he is quite scenester-ish. And I don't know why but I have a mini-crush on him a bit and he totally isn't my type. TOo skinny for my taste. But uhm I hope you find something that is worth listening to b.c. without good music that means something to you, then what else is there really?
