*throws confetti around*

Just what I needed this morning! Let me guess what's going on: Past!Finland was executed in the beginning of the story, and current!Finland is a reincarnation? Past!Sweden was sealed up (probably after having to watch Finland die, people are cruel) and came back to life and is like "holy hell! you're back, beautiful wife!" and Finland is like "not your wife, you crazy man!"

At least that's the scenario playing out in my head right now.

You pretty much just hit the nail on the head!

Glad you like it. SuFin is great, especially first thing in the morning.

I read this on ff.net and I'm very curious to see where it leads.

Although, the sentence "Some archeologists dug them up near some lake" was like physically painful for me. I worked as an archaeologist for a couple years and in general we're obsessed with knowing exactly where stuff came from. And even though Lukas is just a collector so doesn't care I can't help but sit here thinking "Why don't you know the name of the lake and the GPS coordinates of the dig and how many centimeters below ground it was?!" Just because I would demand to know those things.

Yeah, I've gotten a couple of comments about the inaccuracies concerning the archeology. I am planning to correct them tomorrow so they don't detract from the story.

If he's just a collector then it's not terribly inaccurate that he wouldn't know a lot about them (thought he would, I think, at least know the region the artifacts are from).

Archaeologists do sell artifacts from time to time. Seriously, they can dig up thousands of practically the same thing and after a while you just have more than you know what to do with. (I dug up literally a gallon of nails at one site). It's only really common stuff though, like arrowheads in the US and certain figurines in Egypt. But they would be sold, most likely, by whatever organization funded the dig rather than the archaeologists themselves.

If you have any questions I'd be happy to help you with that aspect of the story.

Oh, I can't wait to see more of this story! All that potential awkwardness and other problems that will arise from Sweden being sealed up for several centuries and then meeting his lover's reincarnation!

My whole STREET is.) :) I'm in the St.Matthews area now, But I also own and now rent out a Condo in OLD Downtown, overlooking Central Park right where the summertime Shakespeare in the Park is and the St. James Art show takes place every October so if you need to know quirks about living in the Old Victorian Townhouses there, I can help too. We own the second floor in a 156 year old Victorian and those babies are Quirky.

Thanks again for your help.

A good portion of my family lives in the St. Matthews area. I actually picture this story taking place there, 'cause I have such vivid memories of it.

Old Victorian houses are cool; they have a certain charm to them that I can't really describe.

Also, the St. James Art show. Fond memories.
