Making a movie out of the book Blood and Chocolate? Gosh. It seems that any excellent to decent book gets made into a movie

I was actually upset to hear that Blood and Chocolate was being made into a movie. I heard about it on Christmas, and the preview I saw for the movie made it look as though they butchered it quite a bit, you know?

I'm not surprised. I was about to go on a rant about how they absolutely destroy books with movies. Memoirs of a Geisha is a great example. Some of the most creative metaphors and allegories are there, but there's no way that could be made into a movie.
