Today was my first day of school. I dropped off my graduation application so this should be my last semester. I need to get my resume together so I can get a real job not trying to sell electronics to people. Truthfully, I could give a flying fuck about stereos, amplifiers, ohms, receivers, and the like. I find audiophiles terribly annoying-they come into the store, have me demonstrate some stereo speakers, and proceed to babble on and on about the profound and incredibly important differences between Pioneer and Bose speakers. They don't ever plan on buying anything. I think that they are just terribly lonely and I have to stand there and smile and nod and pretend to be interested because it would be rude to walk away.
So it's pretty safe to say that finding a career type job is going to be a high priority because retail, especially electronics, is not for me. The money is FANTASTIC though. This is a terrific college-type job and truthfully, I love it most of the time-some customers annoy the living hell out of me is all.
School, work, and friends are the top priorities. Maybe I'll find somebody to love, like the Queen song, but in the meantime, I just plan on working hard. Love will find me when it's ready I guess.
