My dad just let me know that his neighbor's dachshund, Schautze (nooo idea how to spell that one) died recently. He drowned in a pond! How horrible. Poor little wiener dog.

Anyway, anyone want to move out of state with me? I'm thinking Chicago or Boston or Orlando. I'm only half kidding. I want out, ya'all.

oh ok, weird. i used to live in sterling heights at about 18 and hayes, and the guy behind me had a dachshund with that name (pronounced shot-ze, right?).

Yes indeed. Also, on "That 70s Show" (in the later, suckier years) Kitty got a dachshund and named it, of course, Schautze. It must mean something cute and wiener-shaped.
