Waking up to news of a thwarted terrorist attack was not the best wakeup call today. Waking up to news of a successful terrorist attack would have been much worse, but it is still frightening, to say the least. My fella makes me feel like I'm in high school. I mean that in the best possible way.

Casey was put down at about 4 this morning. This is for the best. That dog does not deserve to suffer and he had a lot of bad days during his last year.

Well, I used the last of my iTunes gift card (thanks, Stephanie!) to purchase "I Need a Lover" by Mr. Johnny Cougar Mellancamp. I love that song and I will kareoke it this summer, mark my words. Pat Benetar does a pretty awesome cover of it but my version will be, if not as vocally brilliant, much much drunker.

So Robinson was a wash. Oh well. Just the first post-college opportunity, there will be more.
