is poision ivy kinda like having the chicken pox? i hated that as a kid, i couldn't stop itching!

Chicken pox is a sickness, and I remember getting it all over my body. Poison ivy just makes a rash wherever you touch the plant. I think the only place I touched it was on my wrist, but a day or two of scratching and not knowing what it was caused it to spread.
