I feel like I was kicked in the stomach by a mule after doing 500 situps but everything went well. I forgot that the last thing to recover from an epidural is the feeling/control in the groin area is the last to recover. They finally let me go after I wet my gown the bed and the blankets. I'm so sorry you are in pain.
I'm so thankful things went well.
I work on a post-op floor after womens surgeries and this is always so sad, because the embarrassment ppl feel. As nurses we try to convince them, we are just happy they are voiding without difficulty. But it still feels embarrassing. Poor you, hugs!
Recover well!

Thank you so much for the kind words of reassurance. As I reread my last post I realize that Lortab is good for pain but not so good for grammar. LOL As I sit here waiting for the latest one to 'kick in'I also realize that I am well blessed with wonderful friends from all walks of life.

Glad you made it home OK. Make sure you take the time to let it heal properly. You definitely don't want to do it again. :)
