30th birthday

Ok, so with the new job 'n' all, I won't have any money to have a party near my birthday (15th January) since pay day isn't til the 21st of each month. What do peoples think about a party on Australia Day (Hottest 100 day; Invasion Day)? It's on a Saturday.
