Hmm

I know this may sound idiotic, but I absolutely love school! Honestly, my classes are slowly coming to a close and are essentially in cruise control at the moment. Not only has the workload been slashed considerably but also classes have essentially transformed into playgrounds of youthful innocence ( Read more... )

Schmus mentioned he would show us the "tape" in June. It should be very interesting.

Now tell me you enjoyed our counterculture seminar today. I have learned more about drugs from his class than from all of the television, friends, and film I have thus far seen.

omg, brachos class is absolute torture! I was ecstatic when we got to watch an 8 MINUTE clip of that movie. Have to say that food time in your chemistry class brings back good ol' memories.

the twelfth comment. amazing. btw, 1100 is twelve in binary.

i just wanted to point something out :
brandon schmidt : "best damn volleyball team Los Altos has ever seen"
lieutenant commander philip f. queeg : "best goddamn target-towing ship in the navy"
(did i mention queeg was a lunatic and the caine was probably the lousiest target-towing ship in the navy? jk. we're nothing like the crew of the caine)

Hmm.. now I think I know why you thought I was ignorant, and think I'm ill-informed and ill-capable of seeing the big picture. You had Schmus as a teacher huh?

I'm at a Catholic school, but the teachers are fairly liberal. We "come" from different environments, and that shapes what we're exposed to and what we believe, to an extent. -shrugs-

It's not that I'm ill-informed.. it's probably (a little) more of this for the both of us:

"The moment we want to believe something, we suddenly see all the arguments for it, and become blind to the arguments against it." (George Bernard Shaw)

Me.. I love debate, but the Bush thing's getting a little burned out. I think I've heard almost every point the pro-Bush "side's" got to offer =\

I apologize for my harsh comments. I often get carried away, especially when debating politics and foreign policy. :0(

Haha, it's okay. People often get carried away when talking about politics, and start throwing out personal attacks :P

Thanks for apologizing, though. Not many people are humble enough to do so (take that as a compliment, haha). :)
