I spent the morning in the oral surgeon's office, followed by my regular dentist. The oral surgeon extracted my fractured tooth (which was much easier than I thought it would be, since it all came out in one piece, thank goodness.) He then cleaned out the infection in my gums around the tooth (a world of yuck) and placed the implant and bone
