The great garage cleanout of 2009 part 2

We have some stuff that we're going to send to Goodwill unless anyone here wants it. (We had LOT more but the movers took a bunch of it with them, which made us only too happy. I am thinking they probably do quite a little side business on Craigslist with used furniture and stuff they volunteer to take off the hands of people they move for.)

Just a shot in the dark here but maybe you'd want to hold onto that bunk bed set. It may come in handy again in about seven years. heh.

What do you want for the snowboarding boots? I'm thinking Daisy will grow into them and the difference between boys and girls snowboard boots is pretty much just the color.
:-D

We don't want anything for them - if you want them, they are yours. Some of the boots are boy's sizes and at least one pair is a small women's size (they put boys in either).

And while I can theoretically see the logic in keeping the bunk beds, I don't want to store them for the next five years. That would be an excessive waste of our very limited storage space in This Old House.

Ye Olde Homestead.

I'll take the boots! :-D

Now the question is getting them...hmmmm...

Is there any chance that I can have you just drop them off at our Magnolia shop? Dennis can put them in a box then and just inter-store transfer them to me. :-)

Sure thing! I think we have four pairs in various sizes, so have her check them out and see what fits. None of them have been worn more than 4 or 5 times, gotta love kids and their rapidly growing feet. If any are too small, just give them to Goodwill or trade them in somewhere if you want. :)

We could use the tv if that is still up for grabs. I can swing by your place and pick it up sometime this week.

Absolutely, just let us know when! We both work from home so any day works for us. You can email me at jillikin at gmail for address/directions if needed.

I would love to take the china off your hands. That's a lovely pattern! I've been meaning to get rid of the set I have currently 'cause it really isn't me, but I keep hesitating 'cause I didn't have anything to replace it with.

Oh please, oh please, oh please?

Absolutely! I would be delighted for you to have it. In your case, I'll even deliver it if we can go out for that cake and gossip session you alluded to on my birthday afterwards. :)

You know, I could probably use the bunkbeds if I could figure out how to move them.

They're all broken down into components, and the longest of those (siderails) are about the length of a twin mattress, or 75" long. The headboards/footboards are about 40" wide and maybe 24-30" high. What do you drive?

Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it's got a top rack for tying. I'm assuming it's just the frames, not mattresses?

Yes, just the frames. The Jeep should be plenty big as long as you can put the seats down.
