TST application for Jenka - please comment!

I finished about 2/3 of my Jenka application for theskytides! It's in the bio for causink_trouble. Please have a look and let me know what you think! This is my first time doing this sort of thing.

Looks good to me so far! I'll poke at Gen to take a look at it too and see what she thinks, but I like it. Jenka is a hard character to flesh out, but I think that you've done well so far. One correction, though: Agatha sends them out to search for her father and her uncle, not her uncles. (Last paragraph in the history section.)

And as far as keeping track of all of the people and characters in game, not all of them post all of the time, and since Jenka's a bit of a loner anyway, it gives you a good excuse to get to know the other crew members slowly.

Oh, and a question: how old do you think that Jenka is, in relation to Dimo and Maxim? I've always pictured her as being as old as, or maybe even older, than Dimo. What are your thoughts?

I'm glad you think it's okay! Yeah, Jenka is hard to figure out...

Right, father and uncle, yes.

I figured she's probably somewhat older than Dimo. A, because rank seems to correlate with age, and B, because the whole Jager-children experiment I came up with would've probably happened relatively early. I ended up with around 380.
Although now that I think about it, having her be a bit younger than Dimo could be fun, because then she would've grown up with him around. Hmm... What do you think?

I finally have everything written - just the debugging stage left now. I'm really looking forward to starting!

Any idea how long it takes them to process an application? And, once I get in, I need to come up with a way to get on the ship, right? Sounds like you're just leaving to do some pirating, so that might get complicated.

Hooray! And I agree, collaboration is one of the best things about the game. It's like a big game of improvisational theater, when done correctly, and it's just fun to watch the direction that people take their characters in. I can't wait to have a Jenka on the ship, too! Hooray!

They say that it takes a week to process an application, but in reality, it's more like a week and a half to two weeks. And you can retcon getting on the ship somewhat, but the easiest way is generally to wait until we dock again, and find your way on that way. And if you need someone for Jenka to interact with in her intro/getting on the ship log, just say the word. Gen and I would be more than happy to work something out with you. ^_^
