Answer-random-questions meme

Meme stolen from sweetpea_grubb. Pretty interesting - I definitely had fun with the first part, and the second part made me think about things, which is always good. Give it a try.

1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. Who is with you?
My ex. Dammit. Ah well, we do still go climbing together and such, so I suppose it's not that pathetic. ;-/

2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal?
Not fair! I do this often enough that I know what animals I always see... They're all dear. Or sometimes rabbits. I suppose I'll try for a coyote though - I know they're around somewhere!

3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal?
We stare at each other for a rather long time. I try to take a picture while moving glacially slowly. We stare some more. Eventually I start walking. Coyote follows me, off to the side at a fair distance, for a while, and then disappears.

4. What is your dream house and how big is it?
House?... I haven't graduated from shared apartments yet... And I'll probably stay with that for a long time, which is fine. If I got to have a house though - it'd probably be one of those urban commune things and I'd just have a room in it. I like having people around. It would be in Berkeley, near the hills or a large park or something. And it would be near a good bus route. ;-)

5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence?
I don't think so. Maybe a really broken-down one everyone jumps over when we feel like it. And there'd probably be a smallish yard, extremely grown over. I love those.

6. You enter the house. You walk into the dining room and see the dining room table...
No, I don't - there are to many people around it to really see the damn thing. But it's probably pretty old, solid, very big, and made of some grey-ish wood. The wood has pretty grain, with sort of luminescent gold stripes if you look at it from the right angle.

7.You exit the house and a cup is on the ground, what kind is it?
It's a ceramic one I made in a class at some point. Rather funny-shaped, but the glaze is pretty. Brown with some black over it, in one of these cool natural patterns you get when you mix glazes.

8.What do you do with the cup?
I leave it there with the intention of taking it inside after I've walked around for a while. I probably forget.

9.You walk to the edge of the property where you find yourself at: what type of water is there?
A small stream, the kind I see all the time when out hiking. With rocks, and some tiny waterfalls. And maybe some tadpoles in the right season.

10.How do you get to the other side?
I jump around on the rocks. Probably for much longer than is required to actually get there.

CONCLUSIONS
Disclaimer: no, I'm not taking this seriously or anything.

1. The person who you are walking in the woods with is the most important to you.
Yeah, that's true. Sigh.

2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems in your life.
Hmm, that's good news, I suppose.

3. The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems.
What exactly does "severity" mean here? Assuming a straight analogy: ...I take pictures of them? LOL Probaly true, really.
Well, and I don't run away. Doesn't work with either coyotes or problems.

4. The size of your dream home is representative of the size of your ambition to solve your problems.
Hmm. The house is pretty big, but I only have a room in it. Apparently I'm confused about what I want to do with my problems. True enough, I suppose.

5. A lack of a fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. You'd prefer people not drop by unannounced.
Well, people are welcome at most times, anyway. So that just about fits.
Sometimes I need to sit around by myself.

6. If your answer did NOT include food, flowers, or people, then you are generally unhappy.
Well, that's timely. I wonder if I would've said something different six weeks ago. (and a year ago, too...). But now all the Girl Genius / TST awesomness is making my life better :D
...well, it's either that or the drugs. but I'm pretty dubious about the drugs, honestly.

7. The durability of the material with the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationships.
Thick ceramic's pretty durable. And, yes, the durability of my relationships, after they get past some intensity threshold, is high. Also see point 1 for how this isn't always a good thing.

8. What you did with the cup is representative of your attitude.
I forgot about it ;)
My attitude towards what?
I guess I am generally disorganized and random. Sure. That question was sort of cheating though.

9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire.
Huh.
...stupid drugs!
