for one of the first times ever, I dare say. I'm working on the cake decorating--I need some more skill in that department. I rather like the piped-out cookies I made! chris says they look store-bought.
valentine cuppycakes. the cake is box mix, the icing is homemade. I dyed the batter pink and purple but some came out more marbled looking than others. the one I happend to cut open for the pic isn't the best example of the marbling that smoe turned out like. I used a huge star tip to ice the cupcakes, writing tip to decorate.
then I found this cookie recipe in chris's 1001 cookie recipe book. I had to try them out. :) I used the same tip as I used to ice the cupcakes above. I also made some heart shaped but they didn't make it into this photo. the one top and center is supposed to be a house. Linus asked me to make it.
