it started out something about babies drinking... "you know!" that was Germaine. I think she didn't know what to say. Linus did, though. "mom's milk!" but then they went into what the baby is eating now. "pretty much whatever mom is eating." I said it's not so much eating as getting nutrients from the cord. That's awesome! I can't wait for Peter to start telling me stories and whatnot.

Also, my MIL told me she'd be honored if James and I had a baby in her house (since we are moving in soon). I was a little worried she'd be against a homebirth.

Awwww. :) You should do a placenta print including cord that way they can have a true image to study and look at!

I don't know if I'll have a decent piece of placenta to make a print with. due to issues I had last time, it looks like I'm gonna have to eat some this time, immediately (we're talking smoothie, not encapsulation here).

normally for things like this, we google images.

I thought it would be something cute to frame artistically, but maybe I'm creepy. :)
