On the top of my list of things I think should not exist.I don't understand how anyone would be able to use it. I mean... I mean... I would be worried every time I had to go that I would hurt the fish! What if there was poo water in there! What if it didn't flush properly! WHAT if I accidentally flushed THEM

And I'm pretty sure if you built a correct filtration system it should work.
Just a lot of rocks on the bottom and adjust the float so that the water level empties less water than usual, maybe even have the intake valve elevated and the tank taller(but that would require some kind of pebble mountain in the tank to stop the fish getting in it).
I'm sure I could put a humane one together if I had some time and a real urge to build something.
