Fanart for Star Trek:2009 fanfic

This is fanart for a truly entertaining and wonderful piece of fanfiction: Divergence by 13empress. Here
Summary: Someone from the Narada survives and ends up back time. Aware of what-could-be, Nero kidnaps young Kirk and Spock to change the timeline - again. Kirk, Spock and the Enterprise of year 2260 go back to stop Nero.
This scene is from chapter 20, after Jim and Spock are rescued from the Narada by... well, themselves and Spock finally wakes up in the sick bay. Direct quote:
"McCoy glanced over and felt like laughing; Jimmy was skulking around Spock's bed looking like he was casing the Vulcan for some limb to latch onto. At first it'd be a little disturbing, but now it was starting to grow on him; the blackmail potential was pure gold! Still, the poor kid, crushing on a Vulcan was like beating on a wall - but he supposed that Jimmy was at that age when silly puppy love just kind of crept up on kids."
I found that image too adorable not to draw and I wanted to share it with everybody. I don't think Jim was wearing the clothes he was captured in by I had to draw his outfit. It's too cool-looking not to. Unfortunately, I couldn't draw Spock's since he has been unconscious in the sick bay for several days, so I drew him in some robes similar to the ones he wore in Star Trek: the Voyage Home. Oh, and Spock's hairdo is not his usual bowl cut since it grew out during his and Jim's captivity by the Romulans for several months.
