Considering abandoning the blog...if I'm going to spend any time journaling somewhere I kind of feel like I should feel 'okay' about putting all my thoughts down and not have to worry a about offending someone or revealing too much about myself...decision to be made on another day though. Um... have you ever seen the real Gypsy Rose Lee perform? There is a vast difference between what she did and stripping. Which is why she was the queen of burlesque. Of course, you have to understand the difference between burlesque and stripping, and that's not something most people get....

The real Gypsy Rose Lee was weird. She slipped off her slip and removed her gloves and stockings. Honestly I undressed that way in high school when I didn't have anywhere to change...even did it in the car once or twice while driving. I don't think the strippers in the musical were true to history.

I WAS a stripper during high school and college! When I graduated, I WORKED with a stripper, only because she was hired for the job first. I mainly did paste up and layout... :)
However, one of my 1st patients in Sr. Clinic was a stripper that had NEVER been in a graphics shop.

and this means nothing to me...because I have no idea to what "paste up", "layout" and "never been in a graphics shop" refers. If I were to guess I would think ahh... never mind. It's only funny in my head. : )
