It did, although I sort-of forgot to keep squeezing the foam star... Even then, the whole blood-letting itself went pretty quickly. I think 10 minutes or so. I wouldn't stop bleeding though! The gauze I held over the spot was kinda soaked after I was done; they replaced that. I got to eat two cookies, and then I left. "EXCITING!!!" So, now I have a blue wrap around my left elbow...
