Well, I got a reply from my contact in the Admissions department at Columbia, and he told me that I was in the last group of ten students for the Juilliard-Columbia dual-degree program... but that I wasn't chosen. There were only 4 slots open... (He said that "Juilliard is extremely conservative when it comes to giving space to Joint Program applicants," so I don't feel that bad.) But still...?!?!?!? I was sort-of counting on it, and it fell through. Now I have to figure out what I want to do.
The nice thing about if I go to Juilliard is that I can cross-register with Columbia (free of charge!) and take my liberal arts req's there... Hmmm... That might be the best idea. A pensar...
