I have access to a pick-up on the weekends. Just let me know when. Personally, my advice is to rent a truck large enough to haul everything in one trip. This comes from experience. One trip saves time, less chance of anything breaking when packed properly, and if coordinated properly makes everything so much easier.

As for the boxes, I just left a note for Tina. She had her weekly delivery yesterday and it was still sitting out when she left work. She'll be putting it away today. Hopefully most of the boxes are in good shape.

Thanks on both counts, Chuck; we'll definitely take you up on both truck and boxes. We're considering getting movers for the furniture only, if for no other reason than the fact that we really don't want to have to haul some of these heavy desks and buffet tables and such downstairs again, especially considering we almost died getting them upstairs in some cases.

That is all awesome. It's got to eat up a lot of psychic energy (eustress is still stress...), but it's all good, and you both deserve all the good you can lay your hands on. The house sounds fantastic, and I'm sure you'll kick ass at the teaching. You should ask for a TA for your classes, though. It'll help you get through the marking.

::kiss back:: Thanks...I'm pretty thrilled by it all myself. Overwhelmed, but thrilled. Unfortunately it's all small schools I'm looking at...I doubt that they use TAs, and doubt more than they'd give one to an adjunct. But I'll see if Point Park has the resources for such.
