The Marble Legacy - Eve's Chapter
This is quite short, but I quite like it! :D
So I hope this is good to you as well and you enjoy it!
*Note: In Eve's POV (point of view)*
Oh great. A typical school morning, I'd be last to get the bus as usual.
It's only because I spend so much time with my make up. I am ugly, so I put make up so at least I feel pretty... I have to be very careful with my make up though, can't use too much eyeliner or I'll be called a Goth (hows that bad anyway!) I might look orange. I will get bullied for various reasons.
After school I would go to the library. I loved reading. And there was a book that I was loving at the moment.
I still couldn't find my precious book though but thankfully one last door. It better be in there!
Hmm..Where is it? It's got to be here somewhere!
I've got to find this book! Oh where is it!?
I heard a ruffle of paper and quickly turned around. I'm surprised I didn't see this boy.
I sat on the chair near him, only because it was the only other seat in the room, and sat thinking. Where was that book???
I stared hard at the bookshelf, maybe I had missed it?
Then I realised. The boy sitting near me READING A BOOK is reading my book!
About twenty minutes went by and I was still looking at him, waiting for him to finish the book, when he sqeaked very quietly '' Yes? ''
I had to lean forward just so I could hear him.. I knew him! It was the new boy at school, Marky Thomson! Marky was like me. He got bullied too.
'' What are you doing? Sitting there? Just...staring at me? I find it quite disturbing and therefore I cannot concentrate! '' Marky questioned me, he sounded quite worried. Maybe he was scared I would beat him up.
'' Are you listening to me? ''
He just sat there waiting for a reply.
'' What? Can't a girl sit in peace? '' I smiled, I was joking though.
I stood up, he did too, what was he doing?
I pulled Marky into a close hug and whispered into his ear '' How about you and I stay close together? ''
'' You know, because of the bullying and everything. ''
Marky stared at me, his mouth in a shape of an O and responded going quite pink '' Oh sure.. I..I would like that. ''
Me and Marky became quite good friends pretty fast, I laughed with him alot.
We both pulled funny faces and said '' Oh look at me! I'm a bully! Everyone hates me because I stink of poo! ''
He made me laugh alot, and I with him.
'' How about you come over mine tonight? Just so..We can you know..Study. '' He grinned confidently.
Instead I dragged Marky to my place!
'' Marky! ''
'' What?! ''
And BAM! I hit him while he was off guard!
Marky grabbed the nearest pillow, '' Oh it's on! ''
He suddenly hit me, hard, with the pillow. He was stronger than I thought!
We met each others stare.
'' Your not suppose to hit girls! '' I yelled. GOING IN FOR THE KILL!!
He fake cried, but I knew he was really laughing.
1 hit.
2 hits.

I begged him to stop, and he stood there awkardly.
'' I'm sorry I hurt you. '' Marky apoligised.
'' Oh..It's okay. '' I smiled weakly, awkardly stroking his arm.
....
'' I feel loads better now. ''
'' And that my darling, is the story for tonight done. ''
'' Did you like it sweetie? ''
Hailey didn't answer as she fell fast asleep.
Eve kissed Hailey's little head.
Eve barely wanted to leave her daughters side.
'' So how'd your story telling go? '' Marky asked smiling.
'' The best bit never gets heard as usual. Always fall asleep! ''
Marky laughed.
'' Okay honey I think we better start getting ready for bed too. '' Marky kissed his wife goodnight.
Eve nodded and smiled.

Hailey is the one Eve was reading to, and Emily was the one Marky was reading to.
Hailey as a toddler.
And Emily as a toodler.
As you can see, Eve turned out ALOT prettier than I expected!
I thought it would turn out better but I still hope you like it!! :)
