Here's the deal. The loading screen loads, but after that, at the part where you can pick a family to play, I can't get any further! My game doesn't respond, and then Windows has to close it (as it's not responding) So, hopefully after I get Pets (17th November cause thats my birthday) and my game updates, everything will be okay

I have a similar problem! It crashes presumably because of the mods I have, even though they're all up to date! And I try to update my game with the latest patch, since I won't get Pets until my birthday (the 11th of November. Woot November birthdays) but it won't update, which is probably why my game isn't working. :(

*stalks comments* As I said to babyroo, take out all the mods that HAVEN'T been updated (the Sleep Freedom Mod did this to my game!) Also systematically remove CC and test the game. So take out your mods folder and run the game, if the same thing happens, it's CC in your launcher that is the problem and if it doesn't it's something in the mods folder. Oreomaniac found that a single hair CC killed her game with the pets patch. So it could be something as simple as that! Good luck sorting it out!

I will try it, thanks! But there are two mods I cannot delete, one Nraas and one Awesome mod, its because it allows the more than 8 sims in a household, so I need it to play the game with the story.
