my life feels a bit tidier, in the face of everything happening, even just for a while. the kitchen's newly painted and the sunlight hasn't failed us yet. some days i get so optimistic that my hopes have hopes and in my dreams i dream only of waking up to a plain, happy day and sleeping a plain, sleepy sleep
