Ooh, nice. Or maybe you could...I forget the correct term, put the lions on one half and the lilies on the other, as was done when people married.

I think that actually IS (or was) someone's shield... or at least part Fleur de Lis with a lion on it somewhere, that's been done....

The last layer could do with some fiddling to blend the two properly, though, you're right. I'll have another play with it (once I've done some actual work)and see if I can make a non-animated base out of it...

hmm... on the other hand... I could halve the shield with a Bend Sinister- if it's a fat enough Bend Sinister I could use it for the slash in Anjou/France... *plots*
