I'm a newbie, and I wanted to say that I think the concept of this community is fantastic. Which is why I'm blushing in shame at my first post.

Basically, I'm stuck in a huge trough of writer's block, and I wrote this tiny, tiny little Germanicus and Piso thing in an attempt to get over it. I'm sorry about this.

Thank you. *beams* It looks a wee bit better in the morning light. Just... I'm better with dialogue, and by this stage Piso had fled and Germanicus was dying. Not much interaction opportunity there.

And I rather like it as well! I know next to nothing about Roman anything, but I do know that this is a very intriguing piece. You convey a lot with a little: a deathbed scene, poison, a history of tangled conflict and sex and secrets. Who could not relate? Nice work.

Thank you hugely. *beams even more* And thank you for saying I can manage to convey a lot with a little, because I was aiming for that and really didn't think I'd got it.

Nice! *dances* Ahahaha, more Romanslash! Progress marches on! Heh, love the reference to "less enjoyable Roman customs"...and Augustus's new morality (which was, of course, almost like a checklist of things he engaged in himself!)

Oh, and welcome Kenovay...I'll be looking forward to hearing more from you in the future.
