Wellll....talk about slashing my homework...I suppose I should share the first part of the Catullus fic I've been working on. It's my first multi-part fic, and it's Roman-slash (again -- what did you expect?) It's Catullus/Iuventius, following Catullus's poetry on the subject as closely as I'm able. Hope you all have fun reading it, and more will

Woo, more Catullus slash! And it has Calvus in it! You really know how to make a girl's day.

I love this- it's brilliantly written, and Catullus is just how I imagined him through all those poems. The bit about gauging his moods at the start was especially great :)

I can't remember the poem this is based on though... what number is it? (Or should I avoid reading it because of spoilers?)

Hah, there's several translations on the internet if you're curious (plus my own....*blush* not that they're all that great). It's actually a series of poems...there's two addressed to Aurelius with a "Hands off!" theme, one love poem addressed to Iuventius, and two angsty ones addressed to Iuventius.

I spend way too much time thinking about Catullus, I guess ^^

Aha! I remember the "Hands off!" one, now I think about it... I'll have to hit google to find any of the others though.

I really am going to have to write that Catullus/Calvus fic sometime soon. But probably after I've taken (read: failed) my Latin exams this year...
