I also watched Slingblade**, read Tobias Wolff's memoir This Boy's Life*** (although that counts as "school stuff"), sat in on a Scrabble game, cleaned out the pantry and threw out two-year-old almonds, and went to MIT

I think Slingblade is amazing. It's the movie that made me love Billy Bob Thornton. I watched some intense movies this weekend too, Elephant and Crash. Crash was worth it; Elephant was simply disturbing with no real redeeming qualities in my mind.
