The new Neko Case album is out today. I never get this excited about new releases but I can hardly contain myself. Blacklisted was my soundtrack for months and months in 2003.

No pressure on Ms. Case or anything.

And, not like I'm seeing her in concert soon, or anything.

Do you listen to The New Pornographers at all? Ms. Case lends her swell vocal stylings to them and their hip Canadian indie pop.

I only have the first album, which delights me. Sources say I must acquire their last album next.

Ohh, I love Neko live. Did you enjoy The Tigers Have Spoken?

She is playing on Jay Leno Thursday with Rachel Flotard from Visqueen, FYI. :)

I confess to have barely listened to the live album, although now I'm moving it to the front rotation. I became so obsessed with Blacklisted it feels like a pure bonus she has anything else.

i understand, i tend to neglect the other albums for blacklisted, but i tell you, tigers is also wonderful! :)
