I was aiming for something which represents how, despite all the chaos around, for Guy this moment revolves entirely around Marian. Happy to know you think it turned out that way!

Such marvelous descriptions. It's so very Guy at this point, discovering how it feels to have what he needs in such a chaotic moment. It gives him a sad sort of nobility from such a simple desire as approval.

I always felt that if the show writers wanted to give the G/M fans a kiss scene, it should have been at this moment of the episode. It wouldn't have seemed out of the question either.
